Land Survey CAD Technician

Office Location: Louisville, KY

Qk4 is looking for CAD Technicians to join our Land Survey team in our KY locations. These positions work closely with Land Surveyors to produce CAD generated base drawings for property surveys and topographic surface models. We are looking for motivated individuals interested in learning and using technology to provide innovative solutions to our clients.

  • Receive data collected from survey field crews to generate maps and drawings to visually communicate land surveys of all types.
  • Sets up and prepares documents for review.
  • Research survey records, deeds, and maps to identify property boundaries and areas subject to survey.
  • Work closely with other team members and adjusts drawings/specifications in a timely manner based upon team feedback.

  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
  • Vocational computer assisted technology training preferred.

2025 Co-op Intern positions are open to students enrolled in college-level academic programs related to the work we perform. These opportunities are available in all office locations. As a Summer 2025 co-op student, you will be immersed with our professional teams performing routine aspects of engineering and survey work under close supervision.
