Qk4 is seeking to hire a NEPA Specialist to join our Environmental group to support various environmental tasks required for NEPA and Section 106 reviews and documentation. The majority of the work will be in support of local and state-owned infrastructure projects. Experience in Planning and Local Public Agency coordination is preferred.

  • Provide NEPA assistance for various environmental project
  • Conduct and coordinate sub consultants and fieldwork
  • Coordinate with local, state and federal regulatory agencies
  • Coordinate with State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) and consulting parties for the Section 106 process
  • Prepare reports and documentations
  • Prepare proposals, scope of services and/or estimated budgets for various projects requiring NEPA review

  • Bachelorâ??s Degree in Environmental Science/Planning, Engineering, Geology, Natural Resources or related field of study
  • Minimum of four years of experience in NEPA and Section 106 reviews
  • ITE or equivalent certification or licenses
  • Experience preparing NEPA documents, including Categorical Exclusion and Environmental Assessment
  • Experience coordinating with municipalities and DOT Divisions for NEPA document approval
  • Experience coordinating with SHPO and consulting parties for the Section 106 process
