Project Description
Interstate Oasis
Seneca Nation of Indians
The Seneca Nation of Indians was looking to generate a new economic revenue stream by developing a parcel of land adjacent to a major interstate route. Qk4 engineers and planners worked with Tribal planners and elected leaders to evaluate conceptual alternatives that would cost effectively implement the goals. The studied features included a restaurant, fuel station and hotel. Three conceptual alternatives were developed and evaluated based on cost, accessibility, long-term maintenance and flexibility for future modifications. As a result, a preferred alternative was selected and is currently under preparation.
