Project Description
ISWA Head Start School Expansion
Catawba Indian Nation
The Catawba Head Start School, which serves many of the Catawba Indian Nation’s younger children, was in dire need for an upgrade as the existing facility lacked both adequate size and functionality. The Tribe was able to obtain a grant for expansion of the facility, but this left a tight budget to achieve their goals. Qk4 architects and engineers developed a cost savings strategy that included four (4) new classrooms, a new separation corridor, and a significantly upgraded food preparation kitchen. This was all accomplished within the Tribe’s budget.
