Riverport South Industrial Park Master Plan and Improvements

Construction design services have included the design of over 3 miles of roadway, drainage, waterline, and sanitary sewer infrastructure to serve many phases of the development. Qk4 provided design for over 2,000 feet of a CSX railroad lead track extension to serve the development. The firm’s work also included construction inspection and management of the internal roadway and railroad system and drainage facilities.

In conjunction with the work for Riverport, Qk4 performed a route study, planned, and designed the Greenbelt Highway – over 5 miles of highway through the industrial park. The project had urban and rural sections and involved improvements to cross roads, multiple bridges and culverts, and a major directional interchange with the Gene Snyder Freeway.

In addition, Qk4 has prepared a set of development guidelines for the site design criteria and set back requirements for the various patterns of anticipated.
