Ja’net Cummings joins our Accounting Department and will be taking on the role of payroll, client billing, and Flexible Spending Account Manager. Ja??net most recently worked on the Ohio River Bridges Project as a Project Controls Technician. She and her husban, Eric have three boys, Jacob (17), Dalton (14), and Bryce (9). Welcome Ja’net.
Maggie Downs joins Qk4 as a Market Research Assistant for our Native American Services Department. She is currently pursuing a B.S. in Marketing & Management at the University of Louisville. Her varied experience ranges from hospitality, tourism, & dental technologies to social media marketing, health & fitness writing, and marketing research. She volunteers her time at UofL’s Habitat for Humanity chapter as Vice President and is passionate about helping build those families’ brighter futures. She keeps busy attending UofL football and basketball games or trying a new hiking or running trail. Welcome Maggie.
Bob Hudock joins Qk4 as a Construction Inspector in our Louisville Water/Wastewater Department. He has 22 years of Construction Inspector experience including 9 years as sole proprietor of his company, Hudock Enterprises. His longevity of providing inspection and supervisory services to MSD and other clients is a welcomed addition to the Department. Welcome Bob.
Mike Marling has been working with Qk4 for many months as an Independent Contractor on Construction Engineering Inspection projects. His new role will be as a Construction Inspector with our Water/Wastewater Department. Previously Mike spent 26 years in Construction Inspection as both a manager and a supervisor for MSD. Mike retired for a brief 3 years, during which time a lot of golf was played. Welcome Mike.
Deanna Miller joins Qk4 as a Senior Project Planner. She brings an impressive 20-year KYTC career resume, from Planning to Construction, to Qk4 with the ability to provide the expertise needed in advancing major transportation projects.
From her field and office-work experience in construction, she developed construction estimates; conducted plan and traffic control reviews; performed road safety audits for city/county/state roads; and used standard drawings, average bids, specifications and the MUTCD. During her years as the Planning TEBM in District Nine, she learned the public involvement processes, developed the planning branch in the district and performed many local project studies that were used by consultants in Phase I design. Paige Wilson joins Qk4 as a Remote Sensing Technician in our Louisville Survey Department. Paige has been skilled in cave cartography, and in the Fall of 2014 she spent a semester in Northern British Columbia studying Natural Resources Management. She also was accepted into the Kentucky Governor??s Scholars Program which is based on scholastics, work ethic, and volunteerism. She is native of Gainesville, Florida and a recent graduate of the University of Louisville, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with an Ecology concentration and a minor in Environmental Analysis. Her outside interests include caving, kickboxing, and vinyasa yoga. Welcome Paige.
