WELCOME
Kate Sautel
“I believe my greatest strength is attention to detail. I am thorough, conscientious, and thoughtful in every project I am involved in. I hope that this skill will prove helpful throughout my time here.”
We have an exciting group of co-ops, from four universities, joining us this summer. Join us in welcoming Kate Sautel.
Kate is a rising Junior at the University of Richmond in Virginia. This is her first rotation with Qk4, and she hopes to walk away with exposure to, and a general understanding of what Civil Engineering looks like in the real world. Additionally, she hopes that this internship opportunity makes her feel more confident in the field she feels she wants to enter. â??Any and everything I learn at Qk4 this summer will be helpful to me, as this is my first job in the engineering field, so Iâ??m just excited to learn as much as possible in my time here this summer.â?
Kate say that she has always been a math and science person, but was only drawn to engineering when her parents suggested it to her. When asked why she chose Qk4 she said, â??During the interview process, I felt such a strong sense of enthusiasm and passion from employees that I talked to. Additionally, I am interested in civil/site, construction, and transportation, so Qk4 seemed like the perfect fit for me!â?
In her free time, Kate enjoys spending time with friends and family.
