“I’ve always been fascinated by the built world. I love how different structures (whether it be buildings, roads, or bridges) interact with their environment and how their presence can make you feel.”
Please join us in welcoming Lindsay Hoskins to Qk4!
We are excited to welcome Lindsay to the Qk4 team! Lindsay holds her Bachelor’s and Master’s in Civil Engineering from the University of Louisville Speed School. She joins us full-time as an Environmental & Planning Engineer at our Louisville and Frankfort, Kentucky offices.
While at the University of Louisville, Lindsay completed her co-ops at the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet where she eventually started her engineering career and has been practicing engineering for the past five years. During Lindsay’s time at the KYTC, she gained experience in the construction, traffic, design, structures, environmental, and program management departments.
Lindsay has a knack for working collaboratively with the project development team to ensure projects meet all applicable state and federal environmental laws. She’s a rule-follower and the environmental world is a great fit. She loves doing the research to understand these rules and then facilitate the team’s decision-making process to ensure all decisions are environmentally-sound.
Having always been fascinated by the built world, Lindsay was naturally drawn to Civil Engineering. She knew if she truly wanted to have an impact on her environment, she could have the most impact through Civil Engineering.
In her free time, Lindsay enjoys going for walks, making paper flowers, and painting.
Welcome to Qk4, Lindsay!
