Please join us in welcoming Mary Barber to Qk4!
We are excited to welcome Mary Barber to the Qk4 team! She joins us full-time as a Utility Coordination Specialist at our Louisville, Kentucky and Southern Indiana offices. Mary brings over 28 years of experience to the firm and will be proactively engaging all partners involved to facilitate the execution of utility facility relocation work.
Mary holds a B.S. in Consumer Education from the University of Kentucky where she worked after graduating. After working at UK for several years, Mary moved to Louisville to work at GE Appliance Park where she discovered an enjoyment for the project management side of engineering and accepted a position at Indiana Gas (now Vectren Energy). During her time at Vectren Energy, Mary went from Sales to Operations Supervisor and then to Engineering Manager where she oversaw a large group of employees in Indiana and Ohio who designed and engineered new and replacement natural gas facilities.
Mary’s favorite thing about her job is working with other professionals to see projects transition from design plans to reality. When she’s not working, Mary loves watching college sports??especially basketball??and spending time cooking with her family. Welcome to Qk4, Mary!
